Mentos Fountain

A couple of weeks ago, we hosted a "Crazy Chemistry Party" for a group of 15 - 20 kids. The event was a huge success and seriously fun!! Jeremy taught the kids about matter, surface tension, gases (including their physical properties) and acid base reactions using common household items. I guess his B.S. in biology/chemistry finally came in handy :) Our grand finale was a Diet Coke and Mentos fountain shown in the video below. We can't wait to do this again!
